Refund policy
Returns & Refunds Policy
Abarth Tuning is operated by Jordan Automotive Limited (company number NI627833), trading as TMC Motorsport and registered in Northern Ireland. This policy explains cancellation rights, additional returns arrangements, return postage, refunds and product warranties. Nothing in this policy removes or restricts statutory consumer rights.

1. Start a Return
To request a return, use our Abarth Tuning Returns Hub or email info@tmcmotorsport.com with your order number and the relevant product details.
Please download our Customer Returns Form (PDF), complete it and include it with your return parcel where practical. This shared form is administered by TMC Motorsport on behalf of Abarth Tuning.
How to Return
Step 1: Contact us or submit your request through our Returns Hub.
Step 2: Follow the appropriate return instructions and obtain a return reference where available.
Step 3: Pack the product securely, including relevant components and documentation.
Step 4: Include your completed Customer Returns Form where practical and send the parcel using your chosen or agreed service.
We recommend obtaining a Return Merchandise Authorisation (RMA) reference so we can identify your parcel. However, a valid statutory cancellation notice does not require our prior approval, an RMA number or completion of our returns paperwork. You may cancel an eligible order by email or any other clear statement.
2. Cancelling an Order Before Dispatch
Orders can enter processing, supplier ordering or fulfilment shortly after purchase. Contact us as soon as possible if you wish to cancel, quoting your order reference. We will try to prevent dispatch where possible, although an order may already have been shipped. This does not affect your statutory cancellation rights.
Statutory consumer cancellations: No restocking fee, administration fee, card-processing charge, PayPal charge or payment-gateway fee will be deducted from a refund required by law.
Discretionary cancellations: Where no statutory cancellation right applies, including certain genuinely bespoke products, we may agree to cancellation on fair terms. Where permitted by law and the agreement, a deduction may reflect reasonable, evidenced and unavoidable losses directly arising from cancellation, including non-refundable third-party payment-processing or supplier cancellation charges. We do not impose an automatic staffing or administration percentage or charge twice for the same loss.
An item is not automatically exempt from statutory cancellation rights merely because it has been ordered from a supplier, is delayed or has entered ordinary production.
3. Statutory Cancellation Rights
For eligible online consumer purchases, you generally have 14 days after receiving the goods to notify us that you wish to cancel without giving a reason. Where an order is delivered in separate instalments, the period may run from receipt of the final item in accordance with applicable law. You can also exercise an applicable cancellation right before dispatch.
After notifying us, you must send the goods back without undue delay and generally within 14 days. Notice can be given through our Returns Hub, by email, by post or in another clear statement. Your statutory cancellation is not conditional on our authorisation.
We will refund the amounts required by law, including the applicable standard outbound delivery charge. You may be responsible for direct return postage where that responsibility was properly disclosed before purchase. A deduction may be made where legally permitted if handling beyond what is necessary to inspect the goods has demonstrably reduced their value.
There is no cancellation, restocking, refund administration or payment-processing fee for a valid statutory consumer cancellation.
4. Optional 30-Day Extended Returns
In addition to statutory rights, we offer a discretionary returns arrangement for eligible unwanted products where a return is requested within 30 days of delivery. This applies after the statutory cancellation period has expired and where no other statutory remedy applies.
We must confirm acceptance of an extended return in writing before the goods are sent. Products must be unused, unfitted, undamaged, complete with all accessories and documentation supplied, in original packaging and suitable for resale. Please dispatch an accepted return within 14 days of our confirmation unless we agree otherwise.
We may decline optional returns involving genuinely bespoke products, non-recoverable special-supply arrangements, installed or programmed electronics, or goods otherwise unsuitable for resale. These additional conditions do not restrict statutory rights.
5. Restocking Charges & Product Condition
Optional extended returns only: Where an unwanted return is accepted under our additional 30-day arrangement, a deduction of up to 20% of the returned goods' purchase price may apply. This is a maximum, not an automatic fee. The proposed amount will be explained before we accept the discretionary return and must be fair, proportionate and supported by genuine costs or losses. We do not automatically add payment-gateway or staffing percentages on top.
Statutory cancellations: No restocking fee applies. Where legally permitted, we may deduct an evidenced reduction in value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to establish the goods' nature, characteristics and functioning. Opening packaging does not, by itself, automatically remove your cancellation rights.
Items that have been fitted, programmed, modified, painted, damaged or returned incomplete may require individual assessment. Any lawful deduction relates to the actual reduction in value, not a preset penalty. Faulty or misdescribed goods are dealt with under statutory remedies.
Tuning boxes, Powerpedal and electronic products: These products remain subject to the same applicable statutory consumer rights. We do not apply an automatic £30 + VAT testing, reprogramming or return fee to a valid statutory cancellation.
6. Special Orders & Bespoke Products
Goods genuinely made to a customer's individual specifications or clearly personalised may be excluded from change-of-mind cancellation where the applicable law permits. Relevant exclusions will be identified before purchase.
A product is not automatically exempt simply because it is sourced from a supplier, has a long lead time, is described as a special order or enters ordinary production after purchase. Rights relating to faulty, damaged, incorrect or misdescribed goods remain unaffected.
7. Faulty, Incorrect or Damaged Goods & Warranties
Please contact us as soon as reasonably possible if an item arrives damaged, incomplete or incorrect, or develops a fault. We may ask for your order details, relevant photographs and information reasonably needed to investigate.
We recommend reporting visible transit damage within 48 hours to help us investigate promptly with the carrier. This is not a deadline for statutory claims, and reporting later does not automatically remove your rights.
If goods do not conform to the contract, applicable law may give you rights to reject them or obtain a repair, replacement, price reduction or refund. Where we are legally responsible, we will cover reasonable return costs as required by law. Please contact us before arranging expensive specialist or international return carriage.
Manufacturer warranty terms vary by product and do not replace statutory consumer rights against the retailer. Where relevant, we may reasonably request vehicle and installation information as part of a technical assessment without assuming the product or installer is at fault.
8. Return Postage & Delivery Charges
Change-of-mind returns: For qualifying change-of-mind returns, customers are responsible for the direct cost of returning goods where this was disclosed before purchase and applicable law allows. You may use your own courier or choose an available prepaid return label from us.
UK prepaid return labels: For eligible returns from within the United Kingdom, a prepaid label is available for parcels weighing up to 10 kg and measuring no more than 60 × 50 × 50 cm. The label costs £6.60 including VAT. Where you choose this service and deduction is legally permitted, £6.60 will be deducted from your refund.
Larger or heavier products: For parcels over 10 kg or exceeding 60 × 50 × 50 cm, you may arrange return carriage using a courier of your choice. Alternatively, contact us to request a label where available. We will confirm the cost before you agree, and the agreed amount may be deducted from your refund where legally permitted.
For bulky goods that cannot normally be returned by post, any required pre-purchase return transport cost information or estimate must also be provided.
Faulty, damaged or incorrect goods: No return-label charge will be deducted where we are legally responsible for the return. We will cover reasonable return shipping costs as required by law. Contact us before booking expensive specialist or international transport so an appropriate return method can be agreed.
Packaging and tracking: Pack goods securely, retain proof of dispatch and consider tracked and insured delivery for valuable products.
Original outbound delivery: Where a full statutory cancellation qualifies for a delivery refund, our least expensive generally available standard outbound delivery charge will be reimbursed as required by law. Additional charges for upgraded delivery may be excluded where lawful. Original delivery is not normally refunded under our separate voluntary 30-day arrangement.
Refused, uncollected or undeliverable parcels: Any additional carrier costs are assessed individually under applicable law and agreed terms. Automatic deductions will not be made where they would conflict with statutory rights.
9. Refund Method & Timescales
Statutory cancellation refunds will be made without undue delay and within applicable legal deadlines. For qualifying goods returns where we have not offered to collect the items, reimbursement is generally due no later than 14 days after we receive the goods or sufficient evidence of their return dispatch, whichever is earlier, subject to any earlier applicable requirement.
Refunds are normally issued to the original payment method unless an alternative is expressly agreed and lawful. We cannot substitute a credit note or store credit for a monetary refund required by law without your qualifying agreement.
For approved discretionary returns, we aim to process the agreed refund within 3–5 working days of receipt and inspection. This target does not extend mandatory refund deadlines. Your payment provider may take additional time to show the transaction.
Late or Missing Refunds
If we have confirmed that your refund was issued but it has not arrived, check your original payment account, contact your bank or payment provider, then email info@tmcmotorsport.com if it remains outstanding.
10. European & International Returns
We sell to customers across the United Kingdom, European Union and other international destinations. Mandatory consumer laws governing your transaction take precedence over any conflicting wording in this policy.
Eligible EU distance purchases generally carry a 14-day withdrawal right and legal remedies for non-conforming goods under applicable EU and national law. Some countries provide additional consumer protection, including longer legal guarantee periods.
Where properly disclosed and legally permitted, customers normally pay direct return transport costs for international change-of-mind returns. Please contact us for appropriate return and customs instructions before shipping goods across borders.
Import taxes, duties or charges paid directly to third parties or customs authorities may require a separate reclaim process. Amounts collected by Abarth Tuning or its operating company will be refunded where required by law.
11. Business & Trade Purchases
Genuine business-to-business purchases may be governed by separately agreed commercial terms. Business purchasers do not automatically have the statutory distance-selling change-of-mind rights available to private consumers.
Discretionary trade cancellations and returns require our agreement. Where expressly incorporated into the applicable trade terms, an accepted return may incur a 20% restocking charge and other reasonable, separately agreed and documented costs. The same loss will not be recovered twice. Applicable contractual rights and legal remedies remain unaffected.
12. Exchanges, Used & Clearance Products
Exchanges of unwanted items may be offered subject to product eligibility and availability. We may ask you to return the original item and place a new order. Goods that are faulty or otherwise do not conform to the contract are handled in accordance with statutory repair, replacement and refund rights.
Used, Refurbished & Clearance Items
Used, refurbished and clearance products remain subject to applicable statutory rights. Relevant known defects should be disclosed before purchase. Our voluntary extended returns arrangement may exclude certain products in these categories, but cannot remove mandatory cancellation rights or fault remedies.
13. Complaints & Alternative Dispute Resolution
If you are unhappy with a product, service or returns decision, please contact info@tmcmotorsport.com. We will review the relevant information and aim to resolve the matter directly.
Where we are required under applicable legislation or an agreement to participate in an alternative dispute resolution arrangement, we will provide the relevant details when communicating a complaint outcome as required by law. This does not claim membership of any particular scheme. Your legal rights to pursue other remedies remain unaffected.
